Campus childcare receives new director

The Campus Childcare has a new director, Ann Unruh.
"We are still giving the children top education," Unruh said.
The theme for the childcare this year is "Safari".
Approx. 23 children attend the program. 16 children visit Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; Tuesday and Thursday, 22 children visit.
"We are full on Tuesday and Thursday," Amilia Lopez, assistant, said.
The cost is $1.85 per child per hour.
The daycare has five work-study students.
"We play with the kids, do projects, dance and anything else that is needs to be done," a work-study student said. The children range from the ages of two to seven. For the children that are in preschool and kindergarten, it is the parents' responsibility to find transportation to and from school. The daycare serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.
The hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., and may change next semester depending on needs.
"If we do not have a cosmetology student needing childcare, we will resume with the regular hours," Unruh said.
