As the end of the fall semester draws near, it's time for students to buckle down and prepare for final exams. The math department has set up some programs to help students prepare for the upcoming tests.
For students in need of math tutoring, there is a lot that can be done.
"We have computer tutorials in the lab in the math/science building," Judy Stubblefield, math instructor, said. "We also have video tutorials which are in the computer lab as well as the CLC."
Tutoring is also available in the CLC for those who need it.
"Students should start their tutoring help at the CLC early," Stubblefield said.
Another suggestion Stubblefield makes is to do reviews that teachers hand out.
"I usually require my students to do review sheets because they give a little extra help," Stubblefield said.
Sandy Crumet, math instructor, suggests that students start studying in advance.
