Garden City Community College students found their way over to the Skate Zone for a night of skating and fun from 8-10:30 p.m., Nov. 14.

The Student Government Association sponsored the event for all GCCC students, faculty and staff.

"We had 106 people in attendance, which is more than we have ever had since I have been here," Colin Lamb, SGA co-sponsor, said. "For some, this was their first time, and for others it wasn't. But I think everybody had a good time."

Free beverages and skate rentals were provided by SGA. The next skate night will be Thursday, Feb. 6.
