Busters off to Valley of the Sun Bowl

The Broncbuster football team began their journey to the Valley of the Sun Bowl in Glendale, Ariz., Dec. 26.

The Busters are making the 16-hour trip to play the Glendale Community College Gouchos for the second time in the past five years.

The Busters have made the Valley of the Sun Bowl their home away from home, playing in the bowl for three consecutive years.

After losing 13-6 to the Gauchos in the National championship game two years ago, the Busters returned to the Valley of the Sun Bowl to defeat the Scottsdale Artichokes 39-31 in last year's game.

The Busters finished the regular season with a record of 7-3.

The men will be trying to repeat their performance as Valley of the Sun Bowl Champions, Dec. 7.

The Game will be broadcast live on KIUL 1240 AM.
