Saddam Hussein called on the people of Iraq to start Jihad. The dictator had his information minister put out the word on Iraqi television. The holy war Saddam wanted is, of course, due to the war in Iraq to over throw the Iraqi regime.

"The aggression that the aggressors are carrying out against the stronghold of faith is an aggression on the religion, the wealth, the honor, and the soul and an aggression on the land of Islam," said the Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf. He then added, " Jihad is the duty of all good Muslims".

This could have been bad news for our boys fighting in the Gulf region. Already, one suicide bomber has killed two coalition troops when he blew himself up in his car after asking the troops for help. This is just the beginning of these types of suicide bombings. Men from Syria and Lebanon have journeyed to Iraq to help the Iraqi government with the request of suicide bombings.

With all of this in mind, what do we do about the radical sympathizers right here in America, who might start suicide bombings in our own land?

Al- Queda wants to kill as many Americans as possible. We all know that Osama Bin Laden is going to martyr himself before the end of the year in our country. That event sure won't be a picnic, folks. In my opinion, it will be worse than 9/11 was, since Osama himself will be the bomber this time.

We patrol the borders, the ocean, and all materials coming into the United States, but how do we keep ourselves safe from the terror within? Is it possible to know? We can't judge someone simply because they have Arab blood running through them. Sadly, there are a lot of Muslim radical groups and individuals right here in the United States, and sooner or later they will start suicide bombing, or using other act of terrorism.

Franklin D. Roosevelt said there are four basic freedoms that everyone should have: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from fear, and

freedom from want. Freedom of fear is what our President now is striving for. You hear him talk about it all the time. This is why we are fighting in Iraq right now; it's not because of oil. People like Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein must be dealt with before it is too late.

I hope that one day, we are free from fear in this country again, and I believe we will be. The road to it will be long and hard, and blood will be spilled in and out of this country. I just hope that the public doesn't forget the men and women who dedicate and lose their lives to keep us safe.
