As if there wasn't enough to do with finals, events, and moving plans, graduating sophomores must add one more item to their 'to-do list' in order to graduate next month, the Outcome Assessment Exams.
The tests do not determine whether one will pass or fail, but are used to chart academic growth, according to Jenni Evans, assessment clerk. Students will take two of three tests, which include reading for information, locating information and applied mathematics.
The exam is mandatory for all graduates.
"You do have to take it in order to meet graduation requirements," Evans said.
Six days are open to testing, which will take place in the Academic Lecture Hall Room 1028.
Sign up sheets are located in the Thomas Saffel Library, room 1029. For more information, contact Jenni Evans at jenni.evans@gcccks.edu or call at (620) 276-9654.
