 The Front Door will have different views of the campus including views of the practice fields and the Tangeman Complex located east of the campus. The Front Door was voted on by the college and community members Sept. 21, 2004 and is planned to be finished September 2006.

 Ashley McDonald, Allen, Texas, and Ashley Arbon, Tooele, Utah, battle in a pool of Jell-O to find a card containing a tobacco fact. Jell-O wrestling was one of the many events that took place on Earth Day, including a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, Battle of the Bands, and a campus-wide picnic. This event was sponsored by the Garden City Recreation Center in order to promote tobacco awareness. The Jell-O and T-shirts were paid for by the Garden City Rec.

Football team advanced to play in the Rotary Dixie Bowl.
The community prepared for 250 evacuees after the devastation of
Hurricane Katrina.
The long awaited soccer program had a
successful first year.
The Silhouette
celebrated its 10th year of production, while
Breakaway magazine marked its 15th year.
Gas prices continue to soar, leaving the country in a crisis. Members of the Topeka-based
Westboro Baptist Church protested at the funeral of GCCC alum, Spc. Clint
Upchurch. The result was the community uniting
to protect the Upchurch
family from the
protesters.
Signaling the drawing of summer, students and faculty gathered for the Earth Day celebration.
