Harriers sweep team titles at Colby triangular

The Lady Busters finished eighth with a score of 199. Kansas University also finished first on the women's side with a score of 59.
"We did as good of a job as we could have given the conditions," Head Coach Dan Delgado said. "We aren't concerned with how we finish as a team right now running against the larger schools."
Individually, Dane Steward, Plains, Mont., finished 12th in the 8-kilometer run with a time of 26 minutes, 53 seconds.
"Almost everyone on the team has already improved their time and that is saying a lot because Rim Rock is one of the hardest courses in the nation." Jarret Katchel, Hooker, Okla., said.
Pur Khor, Grand Island, Neb., was the second Buster to cross the finish line posting a time of 27:53 finishing 27th place.
"The course was difficult to run on because I didn't know where I was going next," Khor said.
Nicole Knowles, Garden City, led the women with a 38th place finish with a time of 25:40 in the 6-kilometer race. Following close behind Knowles were teammates Leticia Padilla, Hugoton, Kan., 41st place and Kate Dibbern, York, Neb., 42nd. Padilla finished the race in 25:46 and Dibbern in 25:49.

Cross Country at Colby
The men's and women's cross county teams came home victorious from the triangular at Colby on Sept. 9. Dane Steward, Plains, Mont., won the men's individual title with a time of 18:27.
