For the past few years now "The Real World" has been intrigued if not turned into a "Jackass," at the hands of reality TV We sit at home like an "Average Joe" watching hours upon hours of reality TV Living "The Simple Life," as we waste our days, weeks and months boring ourselves with our lack of accomplishments asking why we can't succeed. Perhaps it is the "Fear Factor," that gets into our mind, making us "The Weakest Link." We can't be "The Contender" any more we're living a "Surreal Life" of disillusionment. We want to be "The Benefactor," of the opportunities given, but instead we become "The Biggest Loser."
We want to be a "Big Brother" to those younger than us, but they don't want to be "The Apprentice" to you unless it's "The Last Resort."
What our reality TV obsessed life needs is an "Extreme Makeover" where we can stop wishing to be an "American Idol," and instead become a "Survivor." Stop wishing for that perfect brown cancer of acceptance that can only truly be accomplished at "Laguna Beach." We might as well be "Dancing With the Stars," we're so out of it. We're sorry to say we've been "Punk'd" by the networks and corporations who back them. It's "The Amazing Race" and we're losing.
All we do is purchase meaningless commodities. You know what the sad part is, most of us have these shows programmed into our daily television viewings and we in this generation have eliminated our chances to grow as individuals with wisdom from other sources and materials. How many times do we come into our classrooms and fail to read the chapter expecting for it to be read to us.
Instead we had to get the latest update the night before on a meaningless show that only strengthens our minds to accept ignorance.
