Criminal Justice
Criminal Justice will partake in belay training November 1.The training gives the students an opportunity to learn how to use the harnesses that are used for the safety and protection during the Strategic Team Building High Elements.
The first weekend of November, TEL Competition Team will be heading to Jefferson City, Mo. to compete against other students in the region in firearms, physical agility, crime scene, and written tests.
November 15, the department will put on Exploration Day for high school students to see the department and what it entails.
Cosmetology
GCCC Cosmetology students will challenge Seward County Community College and Dodge City Community College cosmetology departments Oct 30 in a competition sponsored by Smart Styles. The competition will take place at Fiesta Courtyard in Garden City. The contestants and models will arrive at 9 a.m. to begin work. Judging of the competition will begin at 1:30 p.m.
