A package of promotional materials that helped build awareness for the April 7, 2006 GCCC Scholarship Auction were selected and featured as design examples in the January 2007 edition of Liquid Library magazine, a publication of Dynamic Graphics, a major world supplier of graphic arts images.

Tiffany Heit, GCCC graphic and web page designer, earned a certificate of excellence for outstanding graphic design in connection with the materials. The items created for the GCCC Endowment Association by Heit, were produced, in-house by GCCC Printing Services. The series included promotional posters, catalogs, mailers, tickets and other printed materials, as well as a web page, all related to the auction.

The "Spring It On," theme of the auction drew a crowd of more than 1,000 people, raising $127,400 toward academic and technical scholarships. Heit used images from the Liquid Library service of dynamics in developing the materials that included a surfboard, a palm tree, water and a "woodie" station wagon.

GCCC also earned a series of regional and national graphic design awards from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations. The 2007 Endowment Association auction is set for April 13.
