Stranded? Well, probably not as you read this, but it could happen. In the event of being "left out in the cold", would you know what to have on hand? Most of you are probably thinking, this is going to be dumb... but sometimes it's the simple things that we just don't take into consideration. For those who like to be prepared, here's a list, just like what your mommy would make for you. Keep these things around during the winter in your car so that just in case of an emergency, you'll be prepared. Thank your mother.
1. Water - the elixir of life, you can't live very long
without it.
2. Salt-this can aid in the melting of snow and ice
to free you from being stuck.
3. Blankets-if you're stuck and not going
anywhere, you'll need to be warm.
4. Lighters - You can melt snow if you run out of
water and start a signal fire, if you're really stranded.
5. Hand warmers-these are great, you'll be able to
prevent frostbite.
6. Cell phone car charger-so you can call and get
someone to come and rescue you.
7. Small foldable shovel- you can dig yourself out
of wherever you're stuck.
8. Kitty Litter - you can put this under your tires for
traction.
9.Two-gallon gas can - extra gas is never a bad
thing.
